Sometimes people’s vision of a perfect wedding ceremony is reading their love letters to each other in private (and making their photographer cry while documenting this moment 🙂 ), saying “I do” in intimate settings, surrounded only by the closest family and friends, and running through the city laughing, hugging, and enjoying every second of it.
When I asked what their plans were for the evening, they told me they would be watching the Raptors game 🙂 And you know what? After spending some time with those guys, I knew that they would be as happy watching a game together that night as they would be doing something totally out of ordinary (though they surely already did a million of those amazing things, including a trip to Iceland and a proposal under the Northern Lights!). After all, being together and loving each other is all about the mutual enjoyment of the journey… and perhaps also about finding a team you can both cheer on 🙂
